Quality Care for All

Quality Care for All
Our health clinics are committed to providing quality care for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. We have a sliding fee scale for people who are uninsured or underinsured, whose incomes are below 200% of the federal poverty level. We consider your family size and your income when using the sliding fee scale. Fees for services will be reduced based on the sliding fee scale.
To apply for our sliding fee scale, you will need to provide proof of income and family size. Eligibility is extended to all patients, regardless of other medical coverage.
Patients may be insured and still qualify for a sliding fee.
Tick Bite Bot
The Tick Bite Bot is an interactive tool that will assist individuals on removing attached ticks and determining when to seek health care, if appropriate, after a tick bite.

What Our Patients Say
"I’ve been impressed from the very first appointment. They don't rush you at all. My nurse practitioner went above and beyond to find me a specialist for diabetes."
Grace HallPatient
"The facilities were so great. From the front desk to the lab to the nurse, everyone was so caring and thorough and patient. My first visit was just a physical, but they found a lump. Within a week, I had an appointment with a specialist. My doctor followed me through the whole process.”
Connor WalkerPatient
"Toe River Health has an interpreter that works there which was nice for minority patients. It made me feel more comfortable."

Toe River Health Isn’t a Name That You Hear Often Unless You’re From Around These Parts
There was once believed to be a beautiful Indian princess by the name of Estatoe, pronounced “s-ta-toe” who met a handsome warrior from a rival Indian tribe one day while wading in a stream. The two fell hard for one another, although their love turned out to be ill-fated and spurned by their rivaling tribes. The lovers, pushed to the brink of a cliff, decided to make their love eternal and jumped, hand-in-hand into the river. Estatoe’s father, a Chief, was devastated and named the river “The Estatoe” in her honor.
